Updated COVID-19 guidance for charities
The UK Government has updated ts advice to charities and charitable trusts on how to operate during the continuing lockdown restrictions.
The advice includes guidance on holding meetings and fulfilling legal requirements, as well as information on Government grants to support charities that are facing difficulties due to loss of income.
The Government has indicated that its approach to regulation will be 'as flexible and pragmatic as possible in the public interest, whilst helping trustees to be aware of and think about the wider or longer impact of their decisions on their charity'.
